As he embarks on the newest chapter of his career with Silk Sonic, Bruno Mars’ 2010 music video for “Grenade” has reached a new milestone on YouTube.

As per Wednesday (March 10), Mars’ clip, which was directed by Nabil Eldering, reached the one billion views mark, making it his sixth video to do so after “Just the Way You Are” (1.5 billion views, 2010), “The Lazy Song” (2 billion views, 2011), “Uptown Funk” with Mark Ronson (4 billion views, 2014), “24K Magic” (1.3 billion views, 2016) and “That’s What I Like” (1.8 billion views, 2017). “Grenade” was released as the second single off the pop star’s debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, and reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As of last October, it was certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America.

You can expect more from Mars when he and Anderson. Peak perform at this Sunday’s 63rd annual Grammy Awards. After writing an open letter to the Recording Academy, where he stated that he and. Peak “have a lot riding on this record (and the Pelicans game next week, but that’s another story),” it was announced that he’ll perform at the star-studded ceremony, which will be hosted by Trevor Noah. Among the other performers include Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Mickey Guyton, Haim and more.

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday at 8 PM ET on CBS.
