Cardi B is urging Selena Gomez to rethink her decision to retire from music.

In case you missed it, Selena recently appeared on the cover of Vogue and discussed what’s next for her career after releasing her first Spanish language album Revelación. In a surprising revelation, Selena said he music may be taking a back seat in the very near future.

“It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously,” Selena said. “I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, ‘What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?’ ‘Lose You to Love Me’ I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people, it still wasn’t enough. I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I’m so thankful, for that I keep going.”

“I think the next time I do an album it’ll be different,” she added, though she didn’t elaborate on what she means by “different.” Instead, she said she wants to give her music career “one last try before I maybe retire music.”

Selena’s comments about retiring quickly made headlines. Cardi caught wind of the reports and took to Twitter to share her two cents on the subject. “I don’t think Selena should retire,” Cardi tweeted. “She makes good music & her fans love her. I think she needs one more Era. A edgy one that no one ever seen her as .I would love to give her some ideas.”
