Rep. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) has recently been ousted from her role as chair of the House Republican Conference. This vote resulted from her repeated call-outs against Mr. Trump’s “Big Lie” that the 2020 election was stolen. The Republican Party’s actions show an endorsement of “Trump’s Big Lie” and an unwillingness to tolerate disagreement with the former president.
