H.E.R Wins Big At The Oscars!

This past weekend’s Oscars awards was a big night for Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, better known by the stage name, H.E.R.

This Filipino-American singer and songwriter won the award for Best Original Song from her song, “Fight For You”. “Fight For You” is an incredible composition that you might have heard on the soundtrack for the film, Judas and The Black Messiah.

H.E.R. won this award against stiff competition from other nominees including, Celeste’s “Hear My Voice”, “Husavik – My Home Town”, and “Speak Now” from the film One Night in Miami. This continues H.E.R.’s 2021 successes including 10 award nominations and winning two Grammy Awards for Song of the Year (“I Can’t Breath”) and Best R&B Song (“Better Than I Imagine”).
