Jamie Foxx is set to play Mike Tyson

This just in! Famous actor singer-songwriter, Jamie Foxx, is set to play Mike Tyson in a limited biographical TV series. Foxx has been working towards landing the role since 2009 and has finally made it. So he’s bulking up to match the Iron Mike Physique. But he’s not just dedicating his body and acting to the project, as he’s also set to be an exec producer on the biopic project.

The project was first announced back in 2014, and recently details have started to emerge about this project. Jamie Foxx will be working with director Antoine Fuqua, who is fresh off of his work with 2019’s “What’s My Name, Muhammad Ali” and 2021’s “The Day Sports Stood Still.” There are no details yet on when the series will stream and what services it will land on, but it does look like Hulu won’t have the project.
